WELCOME TO THE INVERNESS-SHIRE BEEKEEPERS' ASSOCIATION WEBSITE
We are a friendly association with a long history of promoting the craft of beekeeping and creating an interest in the conservation of our honeybees.
Our usual programme of meetings runs from September to May.
We also run beekeeping courses in the spring. Wondering if beekeeping's for you or want to join? Click Become a Beekeeper.
READY TO START YOUR BEEKEEPING JOURNEY?
Our 2026 beekeeping course is now over, but you can register your interest in 2027's beginners' course and we will contact you when places are available to book. Our courses usually take place in April or May, and run over three evenings, with a practical day at our Inverness apiary. Beginners then have the chance to help our apiary managers throughout the beekeeping season. We will post a link here when the course is open for bookings. Gift vouchers are also available!
