WELCOME TO THE INVERNESS-SHIRE BEEKEEPERS' ASSOCIATION WEBSITE

We are a friendly association with a long history of promoting the craft of beekeeping and creating an interest in the conservation of our honeybees.
Our usual programme of meetings runs from September to May.
We also run beekeeping courses in the spring. Wondering if beekeeping's for you or want to join? Click Become a Beekeeper.

IS 2026 THE YEAR YOU START YOUR BEEKEEPING JOURNEY?

This year, our beginners' beekeeping course in Inverness runs on three consecutive Thursday evenings in April (16th, 23rd and 30th), with an apiary day in May. The fee of £80 includes a year’s membership of Inverness-shire Beekeepers' Association. You can enrol on the course via Eventbrite, where you'll also find the answers to many frequently asked questions. If you have another question or would like to buy a gift voucher for the course, email education@inverness-shirebeekeepers.org. Alternatively, you can register your interest here.
